After a brief port visit to Vasco Nunez de Balboa, dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52) awaits entry into the Mira Flores Locks during her transit through the Panama Canal. Pearl Harbor is underway in support of Partnership of the Americas (POA) 2007. POA will focus on enhancing relationships with regional partner nations through a variety of exercises and events at sea and on shore throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
