Recently monitors in the northeast United States have been hearing some interesting communications on a mil aero frequency -- 267.350 MHz (NFM mode). While I believe that these comms are terrestrial in nature, satellite comms cannot be completely ruled out.
So to my Milcom blog readers, we need your help. How about giving 267.350 MHz a listen worldwide and let us know what you are hearing. You can send your reception reports to the email address in the masthead. Make sure you provide as much detail as possible, including mode, time, antenna heading (if you have directional capability), and what/who you heard.
I will pass along any results received via these blog pages.
