USS Mesa Verda Participating in Unitas 50 in Atlantic
Landing craft air-cushioned vehicles disembark from the well deck of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) for an amphibious landing demonstration near Mayport, Fla. Mesa Verde is participating in the 50th annual UNITAS multinational exercise. The two-week exercise includes realistic scenario-driven training opportunities such as live-fire exercises, shipboard operations, maritime interdiction operations and special warfare.
