Duke Field KEGI)/Eglin (KVPS) has finally and officially changed its Metro frequency from 342.500 to 342.200 MHz. This completes all the necessary paperwork moving the Metro freq off of one of the former nationwide Metro frequencies. We first got wind of this change back in October of last year. There are still some Metro services on 342.5 MHz, and it is not known now if any will remain, and what the frequency will be used for in the future.
More as we get it.
